  • The French & Indian War pitted the colonies of British America against those of France, each side supported by military units from the parent country and by American Indian allies.
  • As retaliation for the Boston Tea Party, Britain imposed the Coercive Acts in 1774. Their were five laws: Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government act, Administration of Justice Act, Quartering Act & Quebec Act.
  • The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5, 1770, between a "patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, and a squad of British soldiers.
