I heard that here in Guyana around 7.5% of the people are Muslims too so there has to be one somewhere.
I wonder if there is a mosque anywhere nearby to worship..?
Did you hear those people talking back there? It sounded like some foreign language but I thought English was the offcial language here?
Well, while English is theofficial language here, Guyanese Creole is actually the most commonly spoken.
I knew apples were good but wow are these native Golden Apples delicious!
So what do you do for work here in Guyana? I'm from Florida in the United States and this is my first time visiting!
Hey! I've only lived here for a few months now and I was wondering if you knew of any good places to visit while I'm here?
I actually just got a new job working on construction happening in our capital Georgetown!
I would say you should visit National Park. The park is an urban area and is overall a calming place to be. I love going to the park and it's even cooler knowing that Queen Elizabeth II was in attendance at the park's opening.
Hey man! My wife and I have an extra ticket to this Eddy Grant concert in Guyana if you wanna go. He's the guy who sang the original 'Electric Avenue' song.
We're going to see an Eddy Grant concert!
Yup!
Eddy Grant? You mean one of the founding members of the Equals? Like the first racially mixed pop group in the UK?
What are you guys doing this weekend?
Yeah I'd love to go! I'm surprised he's still performing when he was born in 1948!
