  • Thomas Jefferon Riding to Virginia
  • Im trying to get to Virginia and got lost.
  • Each state got one vote for congress.
  • Ohio Votes No.
  • Pennslyvania votes yes.
  • Should Congress be able to declare war.
  • Indiana votes yes.
  • Virginia says we should.
  • Thomas Jeferson wrote most of our declaration along with John Hancock, John Adams, and Ben Franklin. This gave our country our freedom from the British.
  • Requirements to vote.
  • Thomas Jefferson rode all the way to Virginia to help write the Constitution. Along the way he got lost twice and had to ask for help. Virginia's constitution included a bill of rights.
  • Articles Of Confederation created debt.
  • Under the Articles Of Confederation, each state got one vote for Congress. The Congress would need 9 out of 13 states to vote on one thing to pass the law.

  • After the Congress tried to edit the Articles Of Confederation, they decided to get rid of it and created the Constitution to make a stronger government. George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison all signed the Constitution.
