There is a king who has great power, like other kings. He is the ruler of a land and owns many valuable things. One of these things is an ampxthitheater. He also had the power to control the outcome of cases that had high importance.
With this power, the king set up a game for the suspects. He would set up two doors. Behind one door would be a hungry, viscous tiger. In the other door, there would be a lady waiting to marry them. If the suspect chose the lady, they would have to marry her no matter if they already had a family or wife. The king also finds out his daughter, the princess, is having an affair with a man. The king throws the man in jail and schedules a date for his trial.
The day of the trial has come. The man is brought up to the doors and has to choose between one without knowing. The order of where the king places the two mammals changes every time. The princess recognizes the lady behind the door. She has seen her talking to her lover some times and didn't like her. The man looks up at the princess, who was sitting next to the king. While everyone is looking at the man, he asked her "Which?" She then quickly makes a movement signaling to the right door. The man the reaches for the right door and...(The story is left with a cliffhanger.)
Like I said previously, the story ends on a cliffhanger right at the climax. However, there are still text after this. It is explaining the possibility of the human heart. How each heart could decide through passion, whether the tiger or the lady came outside that door. It also says about how would it feel to be in the princess' situation.
