Contrasts and Contradictions chapter 6,pgs 90-93.The contrast is that the community didn't expect Greasers to help the kids stuck in the fire at the church Johnny and Ponyboy risked their lifes to save children that they didn't even know,which contradicted the stereotype of tough-guy Greasers.
Memory Moment Chapter 8,page 120. Johnny is in critical condition at the hospital after rescuing the kids from the burning church. Ponyboy and Two-Bit visited him in the hospital.The only request Johnny had was for a copy of "Gone With The Wind"because he remembered Ponyboy reading it when they were in hiding.
