Storyboard Text

  • What problem are you confused on I can help.
  • I have no idea how to do this weeks homework.
  • You would have to set it up first just like this; 5*5/ 5
  • Problem 1. 5 2 / 5 1
  • Yes, so because your first exponent is 2 and your second exponent is 1 you cancel out by subtracting 2 and 1  and have an exponent of 1.
  • Ok, wouldn't I cancel out next?
  • Yes and then you would set it up 5. Because five to the first power is just 5 by itself.
  • Oh, so my problem would be 5 1
  • Correct, Does that make sense now?
  • Oh so my answer would be 5 1 = 5
  • Anytime.
  • Yes it does thanks for the help!
