What was WW2? World war II is a collection of many regional conflicts that all interacted with each other, strategically and politically.
Who participated (Allies and Axis) In the World War 2, five major countries participated. From the Allies was United Kingdom and the United States. Then came along the Axis which was Japan and Germany. Last, were the Soviet Union and was Russia.
Why was the WW2 fought? World War 2 was fought because of WW1 ended with such deprivation, along with the subsequent hyperinflation and global economical, set up the grounds for the rise of the Nazi party.
When was WW2 WW2 started Sep 1, 1939 when Germany and Russia invaded Poland ending on 1945 when Germany surrendered ending the costliest war in human history.
Why did WW2 take place WW2 was started because of Axis aggression, like attacking the prince of Siberia.
Legacies of the war During WW2 the degree of human suffering was unmatched in history, like the holocaust of the Jews.
