I have an older sister named Emily that is 18 years old. She is a freshman in college at the University of Maryland. I also have an older brother named Eddie that is 17 years old. He is a junior at Irvington High School. My dad is the Vice-President of Communications for the New York Football Giants. My mom is a real estate agent, but she used to work in marketing for the NBA.
My Bat Mitzvah
I go to French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in Hancock, NY. I have been going to French Woods for three years. At camp I dance, and I have started dipping my toes into musical theater. My second year of camp I was cast into the ensemble of Annie through the dance placements at camp. My third year I auditioned for the first time, I was extremely nervous. I was cast into the ensemble of the musical Curtains.
I have been dancing since I was 10 years old. I study ballet, jazz and contemporary. I went en pointe when I was 12 years old. I love all styles of dance because in ballet you can't get too in your head, but it takes a lot of thinking and being a smart dancer. In jazz you really get to perform and take what you have from ballet, and apply it to do all of the cool turns and jumps. In contemporary you get to feel the music and let yourself connect to the music.
On June 1, 2019 I had my Bat Mitzvah. My service went well! I only had one voice crack, and everything else was great! My party was at MetLife Stadium in East. I performed a dance with my dance friends, it was so much fun hearing all of my friends scream my name. In my montage video I expected to get messages from Giants players; my dad was able to contact Shawn Mendes' people, and get a video of him congratulating me on my Bat Mitzvah. I was so excited and shocked, and I think everyone else was too!
