The conflict is when Ransford finds out that he is going to be the next hunted
The rising action is when Ransford doesn't think he will make it to the third day because already on the first day the general almost found him.
The climax is when Ransford tricks the general into thinking he won the "game" by jumping off the cliff into the water.
The falling action is when Ransford is swimming back to the general's house after tricking him.
The resolution is when Ransford comes out from the curtains and kills the general after revealing that the general had actually lost the game. Then Ransford slept soundly on the dead general's bed.
