Storyboard Text

  • When was Hitler born?
  • What mentally impacted Hitler's childhood?
  • Why was Hitler anti-semitism?
  • Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 (Easter Sunday) in Braunau am Inn, Austria.
  • When did Hitler create the Nazi Party?
  • During Hitler's Childhood, he had 5 siblings, but all but 1 lived, his sister Paul. His father, Alois, took out his anger on his two children, and often had a bad attitude. Hitler was also forced to enroll at the Realschule, didn't enjoy it, and got bad grades.
  • Who supported the Nazi Party?
  • Hitler was anti-semitism because he needed to make a scapegoat to make Germans feel better, that it's the Jewish people's fault that we lost WWI, and not ours.
  • Why did Hitler choose the Swastika?
  • Hitler created the Nazi Party in 1919, starting with a gang of unemployed soldiers. However, after Hitler wrote "Mien Kempf" (My Struggle), the Nazi Party expanded to 27,000 members in 1925.
  • Young and First Time Voters, Women, Churches, and the Military supported the Nazi Party because they all fell for the fake Nazi propaganda to get people to vote for Hitler.
  • Hitler chose the Swastika as the symbol of the Nazi Party because the Swastika was a symbol used by many famous beliefs, such as Buddhism, as it represents balance, which Hitler wanted to "balance" society by killing all Jews.
