  • It looks like a front is moving in
  • A Front?
  • Yeah! And it feels like a cold front
  • What is that?
  • Well a front is the boundary where a warm air mass and a cool air mass crash
  • There are two main types of fronts, a warm front and a cool front
  • a warm front is usually associated will a high pressure system, while a cool front is usually associated with a low pressure system
  • Oh, I've got it now!
  • Yeah! Its easy enough, it looks like this one might be a Stationary front
  • You've lost me again
  • Oh, a Stationary Front is simply a front that stays in one place, its because neither the warm or cool winds are strong enough to shift it
  • In that case we should probably head home before we get caught in that front!
