I can't, Sir. I can't use my left hand at all.
You're left-handed, Mr. Ewell.
Tom, will you please catch this?
I got somethin' to say. And then I ain't gonna say no more. He took advantage of me.
Do you want to tell us what really happened?
We find the defendant guilty as charged.
Gentlemen, this jury is dismissed.
Atticus asked Mayella: -"How did Tom Robinson attack you?" Mayella replied that Tom Robinson had hung her and hit her, but for that Tom needed to use his left hand and could not use it, not even move, and to prove that Tom Robinson is innocent, Atticus threw the glass to Tom Robinson and he Chcho with the right hand, so the judge doubted that Tom Robinson was the culprit and told Mr. Ewell: -You're left-handed, Mr. Ewell.
Atticus doubts what Tom Robinson is accused of and asks Mayella if he wants to say what happened at that moment, and Mayella responds: -'' I have something to say. And then I'm not going to say anything else. He took advantage of me, he took advantage of me!''. After that, Mayella runs away and her father stops her.
In the end Atticus loses his trial, because the jurors made the decision that Tom Robinson was guilty, the judge dismissed the case and left with an annoying attitude because the judge knew something was wrong. The next day Atticus receives the news that Tom Robinson died because of his being taken to Abbottsive to guard him. Tom let go and ran, and the assistant called him to stop, but he did not stop and was shot.
