The Big Growl had ruined their trap house. They were the only ones not dead. They only had each other. Lucky was okay with that because he was a lone dog. pg. 17
Sweet ran away after one of Lucky´s longpaw friends died in the same room they were in. pg. 32
Lucky gets chased by foxes and a ¨Pack¨ came to the rescue, the dogs in the pack looked nothing like each other except a familiar looking dog. It was his liter-pup. pg. 84
Lucky promises to watch their pack, he did not want to but he knew he was their only hope. They were going to die he knew it. He teaches the dogs how to hunt so when Lucky goes out on his own again, they know how to survive on their own. pg. 170
The dogs learned well on how to hunt on their own and they did not need Lucky anymore. They invite him to stay for one more night to eat some food they had hunt the night before. pg. 266
