The Iliad By: Benjamin Yu
Sparta was angered and called nearly all of Greece to rally together to get Helen back. They launched 1000 warships to Troy and started one of the largest wars in greek history.
Achilles refused to fight. Patroclus who is Achilles' best friend, then put on Achilles armor and entered the battle. He was fighting well until he ran into Hector(the best Trojan warrior). Hector killed Patroclus and took his armor.
Achilles is angered by his bestie's death and vows to get revenge. He goes on the battlefield and kills Hector.
Then, the Greeks finally had this idea to build a wooden horse as a pretend gift for the Trojans. Thirty of Greece's best soldiers hid in the horse. The Greek ships went out of sight and soldiers hid. The Trojans took this as a gift from the gods and took it into the city center to celebrate their "victory". After all of Troy went to sleep, the soldiers crept out of the horse.
