Storyboard Text

  • “Sorry I’m *cough cough* late *cough*”
  • “It’s okay. Why don’t you help Alex with mixing the paints to make the right color.”
  • Ew!
  • “Leo, we have a problem. A really big problem. I think. I think John has the plague.”
  • "Oh my goodness. I’ll go get the doctor. Thank you for telling me Alex. I hope you caught it in time.”
  • I’m in the workroom with Leonardo helping him with his painting that he is going to name “The Last Supper”. All of a sudden, John comes bursting through the door. His face is all red and he keeps panting like he ran a marathon.
  • Oh no.
  • John walks over to me. I’m not too thrilled. John doesn’t look to good and I do not want to get sick. I can’t get sick! I have Leonardo’s paint pallet in my hand. I am trying to make a shade of red. John coughed again and this time blood goes everywhere. Finally, I’m able to put all of the pieces together.
  • “I am very sorry. There was nothing I could do. John is dead.”
  • What am I going to do?
  •     I’ve figured it out! John has the plague! I go sprinting over to Leonardo. Leo’s face lit up with fear. He looks speechless.
  • What should I say to him when I see him? This will be awkward.
  • I watch the door until the doctor comes in. He has a really weird looking mask. Leonardo points to the room when John is. The doctor walks in and about 10 minutes later, he comes back out with his head hanging low.
  • This isn’t good. Why does he look sad? The doctor slowly walks over to me and Leonardo. Leonardo’s eyes start to water. I want to burst into tears. I don’t want to get back to work. Every second of everyday I’m going to think of John while I am working.
  • I decide to take a long break from work. I walk back up to the door to Leonardo’s work room. I open the door and slowly walk through.
