The first source if Roman law was the twelve tables. The twelve tables was a set of laws inscribed on 12 bronze tablets created in Ancient Rome in 451 and 450 BCE. The twelve tablets were the beginning of a new approach to laws where laws would be passed by government and written down so that all citizens would be treated equally.

There were and still are many building techniques that were used in Ancient Rome. some building techniques that were used were arches so buildings could be more structurally sound. A development of the vault was the dome, which made the construction of vaulted ceilings and the roofing of large public spaces such as the public baths and basilicas possible. Buildings built by the ancient Romans were buildings such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Arch of Constantine, etc.
In Ancient Rome many poor people lived in blocks or flats called insulae. Wealthy residents of Ancient Rome usually lived in villas or Domus. These home were usually located on Palatine Hill to be close to the imperial palace. the main job that people had in Ancient Rome was a farmer. Most of the Romans who lived in the countryside were farmers. Also another big job in Ancient Rome was a soldier, because the large army needed lots of soldiers.

The Rise Of Christianity In Ancient Rome
In 313 CE, the emperor Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, which granted Christianity. The edict of Milan also granted, the rise of many other religions as well. Churches were quickly built not just in Rome but throughout the empire. In AD 391, the worship of other gods was made illegal. However one of the main factors that contributed to the fall of Rome was the rise of christianity.
The fall of Ancient Rome left a huge impact on how future empires ruled their empires. In 476 C.E. Romulus ,who was the last of the Roman emperors in the west, was overthrown by the Germanic leader Odoacer, who became the first Barbarian to rule in Rome. A. couple reasons for the fall of ancient Rome were invasions by there barbarian tribes, economic troubles and over reliance on slave labor, over expansion and military spending, government corruption and political instability, christianity and the loss of traditional values, etc.
