Here I am eating dinner with my family. I tell my mom and dad that today in school we learned about this process called the water cycle, but I still don't really know what it is! My dad and mom both told me all about the water cycle for the rest of dinner.
That night, as I lay in bed, I really got thinking, what is the water cycle like? and what is it like going through the water cycle? The next morning I woke up in a big puddle of water! This could only mean one thing, I WAS MELTING!! Why was I melting?! I realized something new was happening, I was being FILTERED INTO SOIL! I WAS TURNING INTO GROUNDWATER!
NOW I AM A WATER DROPLET! I look around to see if anyone can tell me what's going on but I see don't see anybody until I look behind me and see lot's of other droplets just like me! Then all the sudden one of the droplets goes past me so I get his attention and ask, "What’s going on?" He tells me that we are in the collection stage heading towards a lake as discharge. I remember my mom and dad talking about this at the dinner table! The water droplet also told me that when I was becoming groundwater I was in the runoff stage. I was a lot better when he told me that .He told me that his name was Bob, I told him that my name is Billy. After that moment, we became friends and I hoped that I would see him when I got back home.
It was getting dark and I needed a place to sleep. I found this lake to stay the night, I just got in the lake and stayed there until morning.
The next morning I woke up and saw a deer drinking from the lake . I thought that he was cute until I realized that he was drinking me!! I was now inside this animal! It was terrible! But thankfully, a little later, I became waste but it smelled soooooo bad! I started to notice something; my smell was going away and I was evaporating and becoming a gas!
As I was floating up in the clouds, I started to get really cold. Before I knew it, I was a water droplet again! I had condensated into a cloud! But something didn’t feel right... I began to get heavier and heavier. I knew that this could only mean one thing: I’m was going to precipitate!!!! Before I knew it I was falling down as snow! I landed on a glacier, that means I can go back home!!!
