"I dreamed a giant called Hagrid came to tell me I was going to a school for wizards. When I open my eyes I'll be at home in my cupboard." (Page. 46). My Analysis: Harry was foreseeing the future because he dreamed what will happen to him. He didn't know he was going to a school for wizards until Hagrid put that thought in his mind.
"They just looked at him, smiling. And slowly, Harry looked into the faces of the other people in the mirror, and saw other pairs of green eyes like his, other noses like his, even a little old man who looked as though he had Harry's knobbly knees -- Harry was looking at his family, for the first time in his life" (Page. 166). My Analysis: Harry is seeing supernatural things when he sees his parents which are dead. This cannot happen in real life.
"Don' you worry, Harry. You'll learn fast enough. Everyone starts at the beginning at Hogwarts, you'll be just fine. just be yerself. I know it'shard. Yeh've been singled out, an' that's always hard" (Page. 68). My Analysis: Harry has to really fight with himself to do better. It is going to take a lot of work but he has to make sure he is focused on himself and continue to learn.
