- WWI started mainly Based upon the greed, politics, imperialism, nationalism and secret alliances. However there still was one event that is historically known to be the stepping stone into the war. The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand of Austria.
- So then, what is imperialism, nationalism and secret alliances.
- OF course! I forgot. Imperialism is the act of a larger nation taking control of a smaller nation

- Nationalism or nationalistic pride is most simply put when you strongly believe that your nation is the best. Nationalism is important because it caused nations to build upon their armies and increase militarism, creating high tension in Europe.
- Secret Alliances were when nations would form alliances in secret incase of war beginning.
