Storyboard Text

  • Well for you it may sound boring, but back then in the 1930's and earlier, it wasn't! In fact, it was completely normal! No one had computers or phones, but just so you know it wasn't like a dessert. We still had buildings and such. Just fancy tech.
  • What was life like without computers you may ask?
  • So you could probably guess that when the computer came out, it was a huge effect.
  • 1st generation  (1940-1955)
  • These computers were the very first! They were almost as big as a refrigerator!  They were powered by Vaccum tubes, and stored data using magnetic drums.
  • 2nd generation  (1956)
  • The computer was still large in size at this point, but the vacuum tubes are no longer the best option for a computer, Now, its something called a transister
  • 3rd generation  (1964)
  • Only a couple years after the 2nd generation, transistors were replaced by circuits, which were much much more convinient.
  • 4th generation  (1971)
  • This generation starts from 1971 until today. This generation was when the common use of computers began. This was when moniters and keyboards and such were and used for computers. Every computer from your PC, to desktop, to the ones in you school, are all from the 4th generation.
  • The Future
  • I think and hope this will happen because either now or later, we will meat the consequences of being reckless with technology.
  • I think that in the future, more advancements in health techonology will be made rather than phones and computers and such, and maybe there will only be necessary technology.
