The Monsters are due on Maple Street Theme: People should stop blaming one another
In ¨the monsters are due on maple street” by rod serling, one of the main themes is people need to stop blaming one another. There was a flash of light above maple street. No One knew what it was. Then all of a sudden nobody could get anything to work, not their phones, cars, lights or anything. Timmy claimed that there was a monster. Nobody believed him though. Everyone was in a group except goodman, the group walked over to his house. Les was getting out of his non working car. “Well I don't know what's wrong. Nothing seems to work. Can’t even get the cars started”. (Les Goodman). After he said this the car started. Everyone was confused because nobody’s else car was starting. Immediately they all assumed he was the monster. He said he wasn’t but nobody believed him. Then later on a dark figure approaches the street. They pull out a shotgun and charlie shoots it. Turns out it was just just Van Horn, then right after charlie's house lights went on! They immediately blamed him as the monster! To get all the pressure of his shoulders he said it was Tommy! Women one had said he knew all about what was going on so it must be him, everyone had their own opinions on who it was. But in the end everyone ends up shooting and yelling at each other. Turns out it was two mysterious figures controlling maple street.
