Flesh and Blood So Cheap
One day in New York, 1911 was a perfect day to work. Or so they thought.
In March 25, 1911, there was one of the biggest fires in New York. Nobody knows what or who caused it. What they did know was that they were very scared.
Some people on the ninth floor and up weren´t able to get out because some exit doors were locked. They locked them because they discouraged latecomers. So they decided to jump out the windows.
When they sprayed the water the flames over-lapped sucking in the flames into open windows above. Not much of the people inside of the building didn´t survive the fire.
This was one of the biggest disasters in New York before the September 11 attack. There was about 146 dead and 77 inured.
