  • The Hundred Years' War was a war that was English against French. It had battles like the battle of Agincourt, the battle of Siege of Orleans. It started because the French king died and his nephew Edward claimed that he had to be the new French king. Edward was already the English king so the French refused his claim.
  • Siege of Orleans
  • In the battle of Agincourt the English beat the French. The English were led by king Henry V. Although the French outnumbered the English, the English killed most of them with the new weapon they had which was the longbow.
  • Results 
  • Joan of Arc was a 17 year old girl that led the army into victory in the battle of Siege of Orleans. She was chosen by god and claimed that god told her to lead the French for the war.
  • In the battle of siege of Orleans the French were led into victory by Joan of Arc. Although they had won the battle Joan was captured and was burned to death.
  • After the Hundred Years' war, Europe got out of the middle ages. There was no longer Feudalism. Nationalism which is principles or efforts grew. The Hundred years of war ended.
