  • The Legislative Branch is made of congress, which is split into the House of Representitives and the Senate
  • Legislative Branch
  • The Legislative Branch has the duty of creating the laws. It also can reject vetoes and refuse judges selected by the president. 
  • It will carry out the laws, command the armed forces, appoint judges to the supreme court, and reject laws passed by congress
  • National Government
  • Executive Branch
  • The Executive Branch will be headed by a president. It will consist of the President, Vice President and Cabnet.
  • Judicial Branch
  • The Judicial Branch is Headed by the US Supreme court, and consists of multiple courts.
  • The Judicial Branch is in charge of interpreting laws and deciding if the laws are constitutional.
  • Legislative Branch
  • Like on the federal level, is split into the House of Representatives and the Senate.
  • The state level of the Legislative Branch is made of Congress.
  • Both levels, like the National levels, have a Legislative Branch that makes laws.
  • State Government
  • The head of the Executive Branch at the state level is the governor (Matt Bevin.)
  • Executive Branch
  • The executive branch at the state level is made of the governor, lieutenant governor, and the secretary of state.
  • The executive branch is in charge of signing to create/veto laws. 
  • Judicial Branch
  • At the state level, the Judicial Branch is made of courts and is headed by the state Supreme Court.
  • They have the job of determining laws and deciding if they are constitutional. They can also put the governor out of office.
