The kings owned all of the land. They gave some of there land to the church. They also divided land among nobles for food, protection, and money.
The Clergy were the religious people of the Middle Ages. The ranks in the clergy were, in order, The Pope, Bishops, Priests, Monks, and Nuns. In the later parts of the middle ages the Pope had a lot of influence over the king.

The Lords/Nobles were very rich and owned lots of land. They helped protect the king and manage territory.
The Knights protect both the Lords and King. They are rich but not as rich as the Lords and Nobles. They wore armor to protect themselves in battle.
Skilled workers were the backbone of the Middle ages. They work the land and some of the jobs they did were being a blacksmith, miller, baker, or a construction worker.
