  • Andrew Jackson wanted and demanded that all the Indians be removed and transported west ward. 4000 Native Americans died while this exodus was taking place
  • Bank Wars
  • The election of 1824 was the year that John Quincy Adams was victorious over Andrew Jackson. It was a close debate, but Adams came on top, and Jackson's supporters dubbed this a the, "Corrupt Bargain"
  • Nullification Crisis
  •  In the Election of 1828, Andrew Jackson was elected President. After he was inaugurated, he decided to elect his followers and supporters to his Cabinet
  • Kitchen Cabinet
  • Andrew Jackson was dedicated to toke down the second National Bank, because he thought it was unconstitutional. He thought that all the money be taken away from it, essentially ending it.
  • The Nullification crisis, was when the government set a new tax in place. This tax made South Carolina pass a law that nullifies it, and if they made them follow the tax law, then South Carolina threatened to secede from the Union
  • Jackson's cabinet was made of his supporters and friends and family. It was called the "Kitchen Cabinet" by his rivals, because they thought that all those people were unqualified politicians
