The Proclamation of 1763 is when King George lll drew a line on a map and said the colonists can't move past it.
The Stamp Act is when the British government put a tax on the Americans that they must pay for a stamp on important papers. The Americans did not like having no say in the matter so they protested burning stamps, stopping newspapers, and staring riots.
Boston Tea Party
The British government put tax on paint, tea, lead, and other important items and they allowed the British to search boats and houses without a warrant.
Coercive/ Intolerable Acts
British soldiers shot and killed 5 people in Boston.
The people on Boston were mad about the tax on tea so they dumped tea into the harbor.
The British government punished Boston for the Boston Tea Party. They don't let any Boston ships in or out of Boston which destroys their businesses. They shut down courts in Boston and took away the Massachusetts government.
