  • Gatsby bought a house across from her, he stands on the end of his dock and reaches towards her
  • RISING ACTION
  • Thank you, I'm Gatsby, I want to get Daisy to come.
  • Hi, I am Nick. This is a great party you have!
  • Background: Gatsby and Daisy are dating, but Gatsby goes to war and they break up.
  • RISING ACTION
  • Myrtle runs towards the car (thinks its Tom & wife)
  • Gatsby and Nick both want Daisy.

  • Nick and Gatsby meet, Nick goes to parties and learns more of Gatsby and Daisy's past.
