• 50 Newtons
• Hi everyone, today we are going to be talking about forces and how to use them.
• If both arrows of the forces are going the same way, you add the two numbers together.
• 45 Newtons
• This car was moving at 95 Newtons because 50 + 45 = 95.
• The only reason you would add these is because they are going the same way.
• 95 Newtons
• The car on the left is going 104 Newtons to the right and the car on the right is going 93 Newtons to the Left. These cars crash, which car would push which backwards? What would the Newtons be?
• 104 Newtons
• 93 Newtons
• If the two cars are going towards each other the greater force would push the other force backwards. Also, you would subtract the greater force by the less force. So in this case the car on the left would push back the car on the right by 11 Newtons. This is because 104 - 93 = 11.
• 11 Newtons
• This car just broke down. Two guys helped push it away. One guy pushed with 67 Newtons and one guy pushed with 70 Newtons. How much Newtons and what direct was the car moving in
• 70 Newtons
• 67 Newtons
• 137 Newtons
