Mrs. White realizes that when Mr. White had made his last wish the Monkey's Paw had disappeared. She makes sure it's gone by checking everywhere; under the bed, in all drawers, on all the tables, under the rug, everywhere you can think of.
Mrs. White continues looking until she hears a loud knock. She wonders what the knock is. It could be her son, a monster, or just a stranger. She figures it a monster or her son because she knows that no stranger would come all the way to their house in the terrible weather.
Mrs. White runs downstairs screaming her son's name "Herbert, Herbert, Herbert I'm coming for you." She tramples down the stairs right before Mr. White stops her to say "You are not letting it in, the third wish was for our son back safe, not a monster!" She responds by pushing him to the side and she runs to the living room to let the figure in.
As she is running to the door with Mr. White chasing her, she sees a shadow in the window. They start walking to the window until they realize there is a zombie larking around outside with the Monkey's Paw. They get spooked and jump back in fear.
While they stand there in shock looking at the scene They hear a loud BOOM sound. The Zombie's head, a hammer, and Monkey's Paw fall into the house. They don't know what just happened.
The room goes silent with confusion. After the moment of silence Herbert peaks into the window and says "How good was that throw."
