Hello Mrs. Martinez. I'm glad that the symbol stick is helping you. When you're depressed, you should go outside and walk around to clear your thoughts.
Good morning Nurse Kelly! I've been using my symbol stick to get around like you've said, but I'm still having problems with my depression.
Mrs. Martinez takes Nurse Kelly's advice and goes walking.
When you're home, I want you to be able to do what you would do if you were a regular person who was not blind. As for your depression, write your thoughts down or go walking. Since you've started using your symbol stick, people around you know you are blind.
I don't want people around me to think I'm helpless because I'm blind.
When I look at you, I don't see a blind, depressed person. I see a person enjoying life. Don't let your physical and psychological disability get the best of you.
Thank you, Nurse Kelly. I will started walking more out in public and not let me being blind and depressed stop me from going out more.
