This is the Tibetan Plateau, it is a huge height-wise. On average it can be as tall as 13,500 feet above sea level. In ancient times it was a harsh place to live in with huge rocky mountains and fast rushing rivers. this plateau includes China's two biggest river and the Himalayan Mountain range
The Taklimakan Desert is possibly one of the dangerous deserts in the world. its huge area has been said to cove up 2 armies and 300 cities are underneath the 600 feet of sand.
The Gobi desert is on the map because of its massive size going across 500,000 square miles.
This plain consists of two rivers one calm and shallow, one quicker and deeper. The vegatation in the area is great for animal, which made it a key place for farming in ancient times.
The Huang He meaning the yellow river, is one of the biggest rivers in the world but also is one of the muddiest. There is silt which provides fertilizer which make great farming soil, the con to this is that it is more common for it to flood than not.
The Chang Jiang Basins are low wetlands that has a river even larger than Huang He, nicknamed "The Long River". This river is a hub for trade. The river is similar to Huang He, except for the fact that in is way less dangerous. The silt in the river keeps the soils healthy and rich.
