- Stop crying and get dressed!!!
- Okay, is everyone ready to go.
- Yes, we've been waiting here for the past 30 minutes.
- It was around 8 in the morning and my mom woke me up to get ready. It was the day of my first communion.
- Why do we even have to go to this thing.
- What kind of question is that? You know you're getting your first communion in a few years.
- My mom started yelling at me because I was refusing to get dressed.
- I'm not ready for this, I want to go home.
- Well, it's too late now.
- It was around 11 AM when we left to go to church.
- Wow! Look how big he's gotten since we last saw him.
- All I could think of is going home and playing video games.
- I was filled with emotions. Anxiety because of all the people waiting outside of the church, fear for the future ahead of me, and the joy of seeing my cousins.
- I could see the joy in everyone's face when it was my turn to receive the bread and wine.
