In the summer, when buffalo gathered in heards, the plains Cree gathered in large groups to hunt buffalo.
many woodland cree woman married fur traders, so many people share elements of woodland cree cultural heritage.
the rocky mountains cree today live in the grande cache area. they once lived in more eastern regions of the country,but moved west during the fur trade.
