  • Siddhartha Gautama was born a prince in a small kingdom in Nepal. The Prince had everything he could wish for. One day a fortune teller came and said that the prince will become a king or a religious leader. 
  • Siddhartha Gautama was living a lie. His father would keep all death, sickness, poverty, and old age away from Siddhartha. This is because Siddhartha father did not want him to see all of the suffering so he did not become a religious leader.
  • One night Siddhartha left the palace  and went out to see the world for himself. Siddhartha was shocked at how much suffering there is. Siddhartha had past the four passing sights. Sick, dead, old, and poor people.
  • Siddhartha Gautama had gone away in the forest and found the gurus and ascetics. Siddhartha practiced there religion for years. Siddhartha learned things that he did not know before. One day Siddhartha decided that these practices are not for him, so he left.
  • Siddhartha Gautama was abandoned in the forrest. One afternoon he found a Bodhi tree. He meditated for 49 days to try to find the truth. He was known as Buddha "The enlightened one".
  • Buddha went in every direction spreading his knowledge all around the world. And soon enough he had over one million people that believe in Buddha's knowledge.
