  • Groundwater is the water located under the Earth's surface in rock and soil spaces. This is called the Aquifer
  • Since 97% of rural population depend on it, there are multiple wells taking water from these aquifers to create drinking water... However we are taking too much water leaving there to be less drinking water due to all the pumping
  • A solution that we could do to save this is save much water by drinking it all and cutting back on pumping water, also you could use other bodies of water for a drinking resource.
  • There are 2.78 million trillion gallons of Groundwater.
  • Humans need ground water because it is our drinking water, but plants also need it because they also get their water and nutrients from ground water.
