I need an army!
I'm sick and tired of being kicked around all day.
Uhh...Is that supposed to happen?
Wow! Close up!
Interphase is when the ball grows, copies its DNA, prepares for division, and chromosomes duplicate. It is the longest stage in Mitosis.
Prophase is when the ball starts to divide and its nuclear membrane disappears.
Wait!?! I'm too young to be a mother! It's looking at me!
Metaphase is when all of the soccer ball's chromosomes line up in the middle.
Look! a new soccer ball to play with!
The soccer ball's chromosomes start to separate and make chromatids (daughter chromosomes). The soccer ball starts to be pulled apart.
I knew that extra doughnut was a bad idea.
Why didn't I ever listen to my mom, and eat my veggies!
Telophase is when the soccer ball stretches and prepares for division. Two new nuclear membranes are formed.
The soccer ball's cell membrane pinched together and creates two identical daughter soccer balls.
