David commits Adultery 2 Samuel 11 :1 -13
"Set Uriah in the forefront of the hardest fighting, and then draw back from him, so that he may be struck down and die.”
David kills Uriah 2 Samuel 11 : 14 -27
David asked God if he can build him a house (temple) but god denied and told him that he will build David a house (Dynasty)
God has forgiven you but because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord, the child that is born to you shall die.”

Nathan condemns David 2 Samuel 12: 1-15
On a rooftop David sees Uriah's wife bathing and asks his men to find her and he took her into bed with him.The woman conceived and told David "I am with child".
Then David wrote a letter to Joab and wrote for him to deliberately place Uriah in the forefront for him die. Then David married Uriah's wife.
Nathan confronts David and he immediately repents, God forgives him but doesn't let him leave without a consequence.
David's sons then repeat his own mistakes but more tragically. One of his sons, Amnon sexually abuses his sister and then, this other son, Absalom, killed Amnon.
David's last days were sat on his throne but as a broken man, the consequences of his sin wounded him deeply.
