  • Storming of the Bastille (July 14, 1789)The Revolution has begun and revolutionaries storm the Bastille to obtain gun-power, and weaponry held in the prison. They had also stormed it to send a message against the monarchy.
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man (August 26, 1789)The Declaration of the Rights of Man is written making all men equal under law and giving them liberty and freedom. Though this does not affect woman or children.
