Sit-in Movement-February 1,1960-4 young African American students sat in at woolworth's lunch counter in greensboro, North Carolina. Then refused to leave after being denied service.
March on Washington-August 28,1963-It was intended to fight for the rights of African American's jobs and freedom.
Million Man March-October 16,1995-It renewed a spirit of political activism in the African American community.
