  • Medium Shot
  • Over-The-Shoulder Shot
  • High Angle/ Point-of-view
  • The director uses a medium shot to show the length of the plane but to also show the faces of the people up close. In this shot we hear the captain say "please return to your seats now we will be landing shortly"  this means that they were close to home but soon after that announcement we hear lighting then a sudden bang and the camera falls and the screen goes black. It helps us understand how the whole crash went down still having the shot in the plane.
  • The director uses a over-the-shoulder shot to show that Red dawson is looking a the radio behind him. In this shot, we hear the radio telling us there has just been a plane crash just outside the airport Red Dawson then looks over his shoulder in disbelief. It helps us understand how most people heard about the terrible crash.
  • The director uses a high angle shot to show that the camera was on a hill and the crash was in a depression . We see all the firemen fighting the fire and also the large scale of the plane . This shot could also be a Point-Of-View shot from a person on the hill. This helps us understand the size of the plane and all the people it affected.
