- Today we will be doing the bleacher mile due to the amount of people failing in the softball period.
- Ugh! the last time I ran one of these I didn't feel so good after.
- Ladies it's not acceptable to be failing!!
- On her last set of bleachers barely making it up
- It's getting really hard to breath. I feel like my throat is closing
- Mar went to the her doctor after the bleacher mile.
- Well Mar I was looking over your medical records and it showed that your dad has asthma and it is more than likely that you have asthma too. You are having trouble breathing during exercising because your lungs become swollen and inflamed making it hard to catch a breath..
- How are you feeling today?
- I will be prescribing you Levalbuterol(Xopenex) inhaler for you to carry around and if you feel like you are having trouble breathing you will inhale puffs from the inhaler to relax the muscles tightened around the airway.

- The Levalbuterol also known as Xopenex is an inhaler that is manufactured in a small metal canister. You will hold this device in an upright 'L" position, then put the mouthpiece in your mouth, and continue to press down on the canister and inhale the liquid drug. Take a deep breath when you push down so we make sure it goes to your lungs and not just stay in your mouth.
- Some side affects you have to watch out for are: Headaches, dizziness, vomiting, coughing, weakness, fever, diarrhea, muscle pain, and if you are getting any chest pain, hives, swelling of the face, or fast pounding heart you need to call doctor immediately.
