Storyboard Text

  • Claudia is going to go to the store to get some snacks for her siblings.
  • Seatbelts are the most important thing to put on before starting the car. More than half (range: 53%-59%) of teens(13-19) and adults 20-44 years died in crashes where they were unrestrained., according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA).
  • Claudia thinks just because the store is just around the corner she doesn't need a seatbelt.
  • On the way to the store, Claudia got pulled over by a police officer for not wearing her seatbelt. He explains the reasoning for a seatbelt. He was talking like he was making a presentation.
  • This is what the police officer had told Claudia about seatbelt safety.
  • Claudia understands the reasoning for a seatbelt and she will now take it seriously, but she has to pay the time. The fine for not wearing a seatbelt is $25, so claudia has to pay $25.
  • Claudia continues her route to the store, but with her seatbelt this time.
