- Guy was walking with Anne in Mexico City, in her long white dress and yellow hair she looked like she was made of gold.
- 1.-But did youhave to refuse the job in Florida because of Miriam?

- Guy knew that Anne was a quiet, rich, intelligent,and happy girl. Sometimes when he wasn't happy Guy thought he was the onlyproblem in her life.
- Well Guy, I'm going to the hotel, my parents must be waiting for me, you should go to yours too.
- Yes of course I will, bye.
- The next morning Guy got a telegram from hismother
- Miriam lost her baby yesterday. She's very sad and wants to see you. Can you come home? <Mama>
- The first thing Guy did was send a telegram toMr. Billhart to ask if he could get back the job he had turned down because of Miriam, then he went to the hotel where Anne was staying to tell her what had happened,and they had a drink at the bar.
