  • John Adams’s major contributions during the Revolutionary War were convincing other delegates to break away from Britain and he helped write the Declaration of Independence. The Positivity Project character trait he most demonstrates is Fairness because he was not very biased. An example of when this trait was demonstrated was when the soldiers from the Boston Massacre were freed because of him.

  • (Perseverance)George Washington’s major contributions during the Revolutionary War were that he was the commander of the Continental Army and that he won so much respect that he was elected as the first president.   • William Howe's major contributions during the Revolutionary War were that he drove Washington out of New York and eventually defeated him, but not fully. The Positivity Project character trait Howe most demonstrates is Integrity because he stood up for the colonies in Parliament and didn't just go along with what the British were doing. An example of when this trait was demonstrated was when he said that Great Britain should try to make peace with the colonies in Parliament. He showed Integrity because he was not lying about how he felt.

An example of when this trait was demonstrated was when he decided to tax the colonies because he wanted money.
