  • If you have become a victim of Identity theft, you should act immediately. File a report with the police, keep track and record of the damage that has taken place, cancel all accounts, contact the three major credit bureaus, and File complaint with the FTC.
  • To protect yourself from becoming a victim of identity theft, you must keep any personal information stored away to only a place you know.Keep your social security number memorized or in a safe place. And finally, keep track of your accounts at all times
