Storyboard Text

  • Our new child, Nicolaus Copernicus.
  • He was born today on February 19, 1473.
  • By the time he was an adolescent, he was an orphan.
  • They wouldn't have lived long anyways.
  • Aristotle and Ptolemy said that Earth is the center of the universe, but is that really true?
  • I wrote a book in 1543 called "On the Revolution of the Celestial Spheres".
  • Shout out to Aristotle and Ptolemy - Earth moves and the stars and sundon't. Get your facts straight!
  • Copernicus died later that year without his theory being too popular amongst people.
  • Darn it.
  • Later in 1687, Isaac Newton helped confirm the idea.
  • The law of Universal Gravitation is true!
