Now that I am president I will expand rights for the common man. I will expand voting rights, government responsibility, and allow the common more of a say.

See, Andrew Jackson was born to a single mother, he grew up as a poor commoner himself, so he understood the plight of the common man. His election campaign largely focused on that.

CIt was 1830, and Andrew Jackson was about to pass the Indian removal act. Which would allow federal officers to negotiate with the Indians for land.

However, Jackson ignored the law and started forcing the natives off their land.

And so the natives (the Cherokee in particular) were forcefully relocated west. They had to travel a miserable trail known as the trail of tears.
