Storyboard Text

  • This is the third middle school my brother and I have been to. Every school we went to my brother would always have problems either with teachers or students.
  • The bell rings which was a sign that recess has started. I told my brother everything will be okay and to just go to recess.
  • One day I was walking back to my classroom after using the bathroom when I saw my brother in the hallway crying.
  • What's wrong?
  • The teacher kicked me out of the classroom.
  • During recess, I go to find my brother to see if he was okay. When I saw my brother being pushed onto the ground. I run to where my brother was confronting the students who had pushed him.
  • Such a sweet sister coming for the rescue.
  • Leave my brother alone!
  • Coming home from school Michael and I walked through the door and was greeted by my mother and my grandma sitting on the couch. As soon as I saw them I told them what happened to Michael today at school. My brother was a wreck he was tired of being bullied and mistreated by both his teachers and his peers.
  • Don't worry I'll handle it.
  • The next day my mother went to talk to the principal about what happened. The principal said that maybe it was best for Michael to leave but she said it was okay if I stayed. My mother obviously didn't agree.
  • My mother told the principal about how the other teachers made him leave the classroom and stand out in the hallway. She explained the principle and that brother has a tic and whenever he is nervous or irritated he will start to the throat clear.
