Daedalus was trapped in a tower. " King Minos flew into a rage with its builder, Daedalus and ordered him to shut up in a high tower. " Line # 2
Icarus gathers feathers so his dad could build them some wings. " Icarus soon collected a huge pile of feathers. " Line #16
Icarus and his dad take flight, but Icarus did not listen to his father. He is now flying too close to the sun. " He flew higher and higher up into the blue sky until he reached the clouds. " Line # 64
As a result from flying to high, the sun melts the wax off of his wings. This causes the feathers from his wings to fall off and before he knows it Icarus starts falling. " Small feathers fell from the wings and floated softly down, warning Icarus to stay his flight and glide to Earth. " Line # 72
His dad tries to rescue him, but its too late. Daedalus flies to land and buries Icarus.
The theme of the story is to take risk and take the chance to succeed, in this case only Daedalus succeeded.
